Manage address information without compromise
Beehive Contact Manager allows you to handle addressing the way you want. Your addressing requirements, especially for international mail to multiple countries, has never been easier. The fields provided for address information including Address, Suburb, State and Postcode are always used for inserting the physical address of a contact. You never have to place PO Box or other non standard postal information into the address fields because addressing works in the following manner:
When the Postal Address field checkbox is un-checked as shown, the postal address is automatically calculated from the physical address data. The format of this address is determined by the value of the Country field which is looked up in a special table wihich you can modify. This way, you can make addresses format properly for the destination country. For example, the format for New Zealand does not use the State value because it is not required.
If the postal address differs from the physical address, you simply check the Postal Address checkbox and manually edit the address text as shown. This is particularly useful for PO Box, Locked Bag or Mail Delivery Centre addresses. Of course the physical address is available for parcel delivery or product shipments.
The data that appears under the Postal Address checkbox is available for labels, mail merging and reporting.
